Pike County Christian School was founded in 2006. One faithful individual was our dear Bro. Frank Welch, PCCS Superintendent/Principal. Bro. Frank faithfully served as volunteer. A group of dedicated believers stood together and made plans to establish a Christian School. Day after day, he invested in the lives of our young people. Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude and love, as we mourn the death and celebrate the life of Bro. Frank Welch. We have so much to be thankful for as a school community, and we can’t help but rejoice in God’s abundant love, visible presence, and provision. This achievement speaks not only to the hard work and determination of our founder, Bro. Frank Welch, and our PCCS Board members, but also to the faithful prayer warriors and supporters of our entire school community. As we celebrate Thanksgiving this year, I pray you’ll find moments to reflect on the many blessings God has given us as a school family. May your homes be filled with gratitude, joy, and the peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. A huge thank you to every individual, church, and business who is a part of PCCS. We are truly grateful for each of you and look forward to seeing how God will continue to work in and through Pike County Christian School in the months to come. May our awesome God bless you and meet your every need.
“Christian Education” Raising up Champions for Christ.
The mission of PCCS is to assist Christian parents in equipping students with a Christ-centered education, empowering them to impact the world for the glory of God.
The greatest desire of dedicated Christian parents is to see their children and grandchildren succeed in life. The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way they should go. A Christian education gives our students a strong foundation in a world of shifting values and morals. A Christian education is the most valuable gift that we can give our children. Through the guidance of Christian parents and teachers, children will grow up to be mature productive Christians. PCCS strives to give a Christian worldview which will make a positive difference. A foundation in God prepares students for a successful tomorrow. Our American heritage is taught. PCCS K-12 ABeka curriculum provides outstanding textbooks built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian character training.
PCCS is a community supported school in addition to students’ tuition where students receive a quality education, making a difference in our community, county, and country.
